We are seeking a bright, highly motivated, and exceptionally well-qualified Senior Database Administrator for the Systems group in our Hyderabad office. The successful candidate will manage distributed, mission-critical databases in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with SQL database concepts (including SQL statements/scripts; Tables & Keys and table configurations)Familiarity with AIX/UNIX filesystem concepts

1.Strong understanding of the RDBMS Concepts, Principles and practices

2. Adequate skills for Administration, Management, for medium – large Database.

3. SQL Programming ability for typical to complex MS SQL Server Objects using T-SQL

Technical Skills:

COBOL, CICS, DB2, Unit Testing / Parallel Testing Skills, Expeditor.

Total of 4 – 8 years experience as an Oracle Core DBA
Experience with Production Support and RAC Environments.

The ideal Design DBA candidate will have full life-cycle experience from requirements gathering to logical and physical modeling, design, development, testing, implementation, and tuning. A strong background in custom relational database development and/or software deployment is preferred.

7 years of experience within IT
5 years of experience within the pharma / life science industry
2 years of experience working in a global service delivery model
Advanced Enterprise Data Warehouse Architecture experience
